What is your cancer recovery plan?

What is your cancer prevention and recovery plan?

Approximately 10% of cancers are genetic.
That leaves 90% of cancers that are NOT genetic.
Or another way to say that is that 90% of cancers have some environmental factor including food, toxins, environmental exposures, even stress.
90%.
9 out of 10.
That is not a small percentage.

Yet, so often when someone is diagnosed with cancer the doctor or oncologist says, “It doesn’t matter what you eat or do. Just don’t smoke and I’ll see you in 6 months.”

If 90% of cancer has some environmental and/or food component, would it not make sense to spend some time on how to make changes to increase the chance of recovery and decrease the chance of a recurrence?

Healthcare, in relation to specific diseases, has four areas:
Prevention
Diagnosis
Treatment
Recovery

Our "healthcare" system, or should I say “symptom management” system, only focuses on 2 of the 4 areas, diagnosis and treatment.
Very little time, money or resources are spent on prevention with even less on recovery.

Why is this?
… Could it be that there is more profit in diagnosis and treatment?
… Or is it possible we do not have a free medical market but one that is biased to allopathic doctors while excluding many other types of medicine such as naturopathic medicine, ayurveda, acupuncture, and whole food nutrition?
… Or maybe it is because real balanced health, including nutrition, is not even taught in med school so how can a doctor educate a patient s/he knows nothing about?
… Or maybe the problem could be that allopathic doctors are so pressured they do not have time during regular appointments to work with people on any non-pharmaceutical or diagnostic issue.
… Or, more likely, a combination of all of the above?

Whatever the reason, mainstream healthcare is lacking in this area and it is VITAL for real, vibrant health.

Knowledge, information and a plan of healing support and promote real health and a strong recovery.
Getting well, feeling good and staying strong = vibrant, real health.

Having a plan for cancer prevention or a plan for cancer recovery not only increases our chance for recovery and full health but puts more power back into our own hands.
