Vitamin D levels. Optimal levels for optimal health

Uncategorized Jun 25, 2018

Nutrients instruct the cells how to function.

The body runs on nutrients (not calories) to build, heal and repair.

Nutrients include macro-nutrients  (fat, protein, carbohydrate), micro-nutrients (minerals, vitamins) , water and sunshine.

Nutrients, including vitamin D,  provide INFORMATION to the body and INSTRUCTS CELLS what to do and how to function.

Nutrients build cells, strong mitochondria, bone structure, high functioning brain and a healthy immune system.

Vitamin D is one of the most important nutrients while also being one of the most common nutrient deficiencies.

Vitamin D is called a vitamin, although it is really a hormone, and as a hormone it has multiple functions in the body.
When the vitamin D level is deficient it can cause a number of health issues that go way beyond bone issues but also include and is associated with cancer, autoimmune, depression, cognitive decline and a low functioning immune system.

What is your cancer recovery plan?

What is your cancer prevention and recovery plan?

Approximately 10% of cancers are genetic.
That leaves 90% of cancers that are NOT genetic.
Or another way to say that is that 90% of cancers have some environmental factor including food, toxins, environmental exposures, even stress.
90%.
9 out of 10.
That is not a small percentage.

Yet, so often when someone is diagnosed with cancer the doctor or oncologist says, “It doesn’t matter what you eat or do. Just don’t smoke and I’ll see you in 6 months.”

If 90% of cancer has some environmental and/or food component, would it not make sense to spend some time on how to make changes to increase the chance of recovery and decrease the chance of a recurrence?

Healthcare, in relation to specific diseases, has four areas:
Prevention
Diagnosis
Treatment
Recovery

Our "healthcare" system, or should I say “symptom management” system, only focuses on 2 of the 4 areas, diagnosis and treatment.
Very little time, money...

Not only was it inconvenient to break down or run out of gas before cell phones, but you were pretty sure you’d get a lecture when you got home about the importance of “maintaining your vehicle”.

It is even more important to maintain our permanent vehicle, our body.
We will have our body with us our entire life with no trade-in option available. And how we treat it will determine how it runs.

Bodies operate on nutrients, including macronutrients and micronutrients as well as phytonutrients, enzymes and water. Our body needs all these raw materials in proper amounts to grow, heal and recover.

In recent years there has been a...
